The current unequal distribution of water and food resources is the cause of many major problems in the world.
Desalination has become important in supplying the world’s drinking water; In the middle of the 20th century, there were about 4,000 cubic meters of fresh water per person per year. Now, globally, we’re down to 1,000 cubic meters per person per year — a level that is defined as water scarcity, especially in remote desert and coastal areas.

BIYO helps clients to secure an affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy and water supply needed to help make an end to extreme poverty and promote shared prosperity. Through the development of renewable energy sources in combination with potable water supplies we contribute to create a more sustainable world.
Our main focus is on assisting governments, NGO’s and private enterprises to produce enough green energy and potable water in a sustainable and equitable manner.
In our vision reuse of degenerated agricultural areas is a main pre-requisite to reach that goal.
